Matt
HEAD ROASTER
Matt doesn’t like having his photo taken. Despite that and being a Kiwi he’s actually quite a nice guy. He’s also a highly experienced coffee roaster. After cutting his teeth at Havana Coffee and Fidel’s Cafe (famous in NZ bro) he moved overseas to Rickshaws and Flat White in China before landing on the Gold Coast like every other Kiwi ever.

Scottie is passionate about coffee. He’s this animated in real life too. Seriously, ask him about anything that troubles you and he will always have an opinion (no guarantees it will be right… but it comes with amazing coffee… so at very least you’re guaranteed a caffeine hit). With a zillion years in the industry, he’s somewhat entitled to his opinions, and is an open book for anyone willing to listen and learn.
